Do you still have the stock tag holder and light assembly on your bike?

not at the moment, but a friend is working on a bobbed fender for the rear that takes the stock parts... can't wait!

I guess that piece is on there for several reasons.

I got my R3 GT from dealer two days ago and my first ride was under light rain (15 minutes). Arrived at home, my back was dry. I only had to remove some mud under rear mudguard.

Same here - not found an issue yet - although I dont cross muddy fields..

If you take that bracket that holds the tag and lights on your gonna get hosed.
