Talk to me about gear

That's one reason I have never invested in heated riding gear, because, knowing myself as I do, it is a lead pipe cinch that sooner or later I would forget that I was tethered to my ride and, predictably, mayhem would ensue!

I do that routinely,

but the connection just separates...not really a consequence (like becoming the MICHELIN man)

I do that all the time with my heated gloves, no harm though, plugs designed to come apart when pulled.

I use a Spot GPS Tracker when on extended rides. Not so much for safety as I don't frequently ride in desolate wilderness and I PACK; but, it has helped much for my wife's anxiety and lowered the pressure on me to remember to call in frequently.

using a SPOT now on my Quebec snowmobile ride. 2200 miles thus far with 5 days to go before we are finished. Should have close to 3,000. missed one day of riding so far do to a short. should have never used that heated seat.... the Gaspe Peninsula was awesome!

Awesome adventure!
How would one go there and find your path?
