AMEN, Jerry!
When the time comes that I cannot maintain what I consider "above average" mental and physical riding skills, I will quit.
I can now indeed see the end of the tunnel (riding motor) for me.
BUT, like seeing l oncoming headlights at night, the time/distance left is very difficult to determine.
I hope to break 80, but . . . . . . .

Only 1% of motorcyclists make it to 75, now youre goin for 80. Stud!

Turned 75 last month. Still own 6 motorcycles. Mostly ride my 2013, but have a new rear tire to mount up on my favorite 2006 with a 2015 engine, and exhaust header, tune etc. Runs like a scalded dog! Need to sell the 2 Hardleys, and get the Kawasaki ready to sell. Still riding, NOT shining.

Just thinking.....I've been riding motorbikes for 52 years.
If I do reach 75, I might be able to say that i've been riding bikes for 69 years, but I sometimes wonder if I will reach that age, even if i'm 'careful'.
The men in my family have tended to have said goodbye by the time they reach 70, with perhaps the exception of my uncle, who appears to be bucking the trend.....so there's hope, I guess

There's a saying I once read .......' If they don't have motorbikes in heaven, then i'm not going....'
