I f I remove the secondary plates, do I need the GiPro or will I be okay without it? If I need it, I will get one, no problem. Just curious. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

What Rob said. On Pre Roadster bikes - it's major contribution is providing a gear indicator. I know - I have one fitted.

And it's better to force the secondary plates to 100% in the map than remove them - UNLESS you also remove the bar they're connected to. It's one of the many gems I learned from Wayne Tripp. ime there are low speed fueling advantages to be gained by using the secondaries WISELY.

Once you do this - You'll almost certainly need to change the fuel maps too - so you'll need TuneECU or a piggyback device.

ive just re-fitted my secondaries which as suspected has restored my low end tractability..ive stopped chasing BHP now on my rocket and opted for better low to midrange manners instead which i hope will make it nicer to ride;)

Well, thank you guys. I do have a cable already. Now I just need to learn up on how to use TuneECU I guess. Thanks again!
