Tail Light

Is that the size for the brake light, "1157"? I was thinking of trying the PIAA's out. I've always thought that the tail light is not bright enough.

It is a big picture but who can spot the LED's, they are brighter than ****...

I used two sets of these between the bags and the fender...

and a set of these on the trunk, they are red brake, red running and amber turn signals...

The lights are dim...

One of the first replacements done on my R3T was to a PIAA H4 XTreme White headlamp. Much better. I also installed a Kisan trailBlazer headlamp modulator which is also another way to add to your conspicuity.

Regarding the rear running/brake lamp, replaced with Lazer LED dual function lamp. I also install two Chris Products red LED auxilliary lamps. To add to the rear conspicuity on my R3T, I added a Kisan pathBlazer and hooked up my red LED auxilliary to the brake/running lamp circuit.

My buddies now tell me they have no problem seeing the rear of my R3T nor my intentions to stop with the Kisan tailblazer running the three lamps.

It looks awesome and works great!

Happy riding.

Make sure you make an announcement here. I might just go for one of those.

I stuck a 100/110w blue bulb in and an LED bulb in the tailend. No problem seeing, brighter than most bikes. Maybe you better stick to day time ridin.

Aux Rear LED lamps and Kisan tailBlazer

I purchased an additional set of red aux lamps from Chris Products for the L.E.D. rear of my R3T. I also added a bright LED brake lamp. I then tied them together by using a tailBlazer (from Kisan) in the rear. The affect is much more light from the rear... and the quickness of the LED lamps with the Kisan is quite dramatic.

Here's what I'm going with .

I think it'll look good with the bobbed fender and brighter than all get out with all them LED's.

I agree. The OEM tail and brake lamp are pitiful. Same issue for the front headlamp.

On the front, I've added (like most) the PIAA Xtreme Blue (H4) lamp. Much better. Also added this same type lamp to the driving lamps (H3).

On the rear, I added some chrome bracketry and Chris Products LED dual function lamps. Lamp shape is very close to OEM. I then installed a Kisan TailBlazer to these LED lamps and ran the stop and brake lamps off the Kisan. Great looks and the LED lamps are so quick to react and can be seen day or night. The TailBlazer quickly flashes the OEM brake light and the two LED lamps.

Conspicuity is what it is all about baby.

If you need a picture, let me know.
