I think this might be a good clue Maurice. I've actually had a couple of stalls, but only after filling the tank and then letting the bike sit on a warm day. The fuel expands and I believe overwhelms the evap system and floods the engine when the evap purge cycle starts. If I fill up on the way to work and then the bike sits in the sun, when I'm leaving, it tries to stall on my way out of the parking lot. I have to keep the RPMs up a little bit to keep from stalling.

Focusing on not letting the gas go over the "full" plate on fill-ups and riding for a bit after a fill-up have stopped the issue from occurring for me.

i have had the same on my 07
fill up and let set in the summer and my black tank does the rest:roll:

this will explain why I'm not having this issue... when I fill the tank I go riding or continue riding... if not, I usually go straight to the enclosed garage for storage.

I was going to mention that it happens to me on a half a tank or less. Never on a full tank and never early in my ride. Every time it has happened I brake hard at the bottom of the ramp and also downshift and I do blip the throttle at times when downshifting. It stalls at 05 mph almost at a stop. I was thinking the first few times it happened that maybe it was due to low on gas and the violent transfer of gas going forward as I stop suddenly. It has never happened any other way when riding and always happens after an hour or so out. I do believe at least for me at this time that it has to do with the blipping of the throttle as I downshift and slow to stop.

🤔 mine ocurred about 10 minutes after fill up. But then another time with less than 1/2 tank.
Was tired of recording with no results. Took short ride yesterday with less than 1/2 tank. Bike not in sun and it stalled. 😒Maybe not 1 reason for stall.
Will take a ride today and record but don't expect stall. Tomorrow dealer gets it. Will explain to manager all of us with stalling.

SCORE! Got stall recorded. About 20 minutes after fill up. Almost a second one few minutes later as revs went to about 500. But no red oil can! Only 83 degrees outside. No consistency. Dealer will get recording. Drive to station, got water and I stopped recording. Started again toward home. You see 2 separate recording times ( not Nov. 6)Stall is the later. On phone you would swipe left to see entire event.

My dealer doesn't even stock brake pads, sorry, I've owned Triumphs for a dozen years, I know better.
