Sputtering problem finally resolved

Jumping on this thread again---Fred did you just extend the electrical wires to make the air temp thingy reach the K&N or did you buy some sort of extension, knowing you as a cheeeeeep ***** you probably spliced the wires.
Did you get a toilet seat yet?

There was a nice wooden on Craigs list FOR FREE, and someone beat me to it . As for the air temp thingy, I did splice in a piece of wire, it's soldered and shrink tubed.

Hey Rocket Scientist.. Is it safe to vent the crankcase filter as you have? I know the answer is yes, or you wouldn't have done it that way. I just want to understand. There's no risk of putting anything bad into the engine? Thanks.

Mine has been that way for at least 30,000 miles with no ill effect.

I just installed a Ramair filter and TORs. Does this mean that the air temp sensor in the ramair is in the right place?

If you followed the RamAir instructions, and used all the parts, then yes, it should be in the right place.

Well done.
