Sorta blacked out GT

Ceramic coated exhaust heat shields and small aluminum pieces (not sure what to call them) one on the brake and one on the shifter also ceramic coated perforated/slotted piece above the exhaust (driver side). powder coated sissy bar and bracket, trim under the seat, head light and blinker bezels also the the 2 pieces that hold the front cowl on. Painted flat black with matte clear coat on the radiator shroud and shock covers. I was happy with how everything turned out. Thanks all. Ceramic coat 80$ and powder coat was 170$, I did the paint job myself 20$
I also had the luggage rack powder coated, it’s just not on yet. 20% black is what I went with for the powder coat

Looks very nice 👍
But I guess you must have been annoyed when they released limited black version

I wouldn't be. This way you can black out what you want and not have Triumph do it for you. Slim made it his and nothing else out there looks exactly like it. Kudo's.

Here’s my version...

Perfect job, Slim! Triumph should have done this. So much better than the new Triple and Black versions! I love it!

Did you have to sand the shields on the exhaust and the other aluminum pieces?
I want to paint the gray pieces next to the seat and on the front of the bike. Do I sand those too? What’s type of paint do you recommend for those pieces? Thanks man. You did a great job on your bike

The only pieces I painted was the the front fork covers and radiator shroud ( because they are plastic) I did throw a light sand on those. All the other pieces I believe they sandblast before they powder and ceramic coat.
