Well back on topic and away from horse members:

These are definitely the most accurate measurements, I refined my method yet again, returns the same results over and over and validated TDC when complete and was exactly right on the wheel:

Measurements at 0.04” lift:
IVO - 18 BTDC
IVC - 61 ABDC
EVO - 57 BBDC
EVC - 12 ATDC

Tappet Lifts:
Intake - 0.457”
Exhaust - 0.412”

Centerlines:
Intake - 111
Exhaust - 112

Duration:
Intake - 259
Exhaust - 249

Overlap - 30

Cam specs from the manufacturer
0.465 lift intake
268 duration intake at 0.04”
0.427 lift exhaust
258 duration exhaust at 0.04”

Remeasured the 0.006” as well
IVO - 43 BTDC
IVC - 75 ABDC
EVO - 75 BBDC
EVC - 37 ATDC

Duration:
Intake - 298
Exhaust - 282

Closing it up, these are good measurements that all jive when calcs are applied and repeatable.

They are symmetric profiles or very close to it, demonstrated by the centerlines, calculated and measured matching nearly perfectly.

Now you can directly compare the Megacycle
BC4 intake and BC7 exhaust directly to stockers.

Valve clearances double checked and came out different? Odd but, it is what it is.
Intakes - .2mm
Exhaust - .24mm

Just looking through some other cam specs, I find it very interesting when comparing the Daytona 955i cams to these.

1 more degree duration on these on intake side. The Daytona cams are installed at a much tighter LSA, 99 vs 111. As such they have a ton more overlap and pull all the way to 11,200 where they peak.

Makes me a bit curious...

Took me 2-3 hours to get the engine free of the frame.... was back in taking less than 10 minutes....

Looks like bolts weren't the only thing turning black

Haha, RAA West casualty. My track boots did a number on that toe over the course of the week.

I never realized just how insane all the wiring was on the R3 until today lol.

Also, lesson learned, 7075 Aluminum M6 bolts from Pro-Bolt will NOT survive 10ft-lbs of torque consistently, don't ask how I know 6ft-lbs is fine.

Little trick, when tightening the clutch nut, throw a shop rage between the drive gear from the crank to the clutch basket, no need for a special tool. Use a second rag to bind the inner clutch hub to the basket, 77ft-lbs is a lot of torque there lol.

I have a spring, aaaand I have NO idea where it goes, wee bit curious about that.

Edit: Think its the drive shaft spring #16 in the diagram.
