Something Failed, let’s find it! Transmission Analysis.

Complete, thanks for telling me to just man the hell up and hit it :p Popped right off, don't even need to tighten the removal tool with a bar, just hand tight and hit it :p

Here's some carnage:

3rd Gear Output took the most damage, with some damage to 3rd input portion of the 3/4 input gear.
4th section of the 3/4 input is unharmed.
Billet 4th got chewed on too, will need to be replaced as well.
1st, 5th, and the shafts look perfect, this is just initial tear down do there's still a lot more measuring to do and figure out what caused it and not just replace the broken bits.

The below confirms what I suspected, there's an uneven load on the shift forks, one side looks immaculate and new, the other side, as you can see, has been dug into abnormally. Shift drum alignment is NOT right.

I absolutely never ride with my foot on the shifter, I'm usually with toes on pegs so it's impossible its caused by laying my foot on the shifter while riding.

2nd/3rd Selector Fork

1st/4th Selector Fork

That's a carbon copy of my first kaboom...with the exception of the fork damage - my forks were largely unscathed so only replaced for ****s n giggles...

I'm with Fred at this point. ..check the clips...quickly...we all want to know lol
