Bent shafts don't sound good. It makes me wonder why there aren't many Rocket 3 drag bikes.

I don't think shaft drives work very good for a full on drag bike. The only option would be turning the engine. Might as well just start with something that already has a transverse engine.

Well, more than torsional damper, something on output or input shaft is broke also, so, yup you guessed it, gonna drop it and split it to get to trans i gotta get more oil

a little story i tell to my racers you can take an egg and squeeze it as hard as you want and it won't break but if you slam it against the wall it is going to break.
do not do neutral drops.
on your bike i would guess just a second more while releasing the clutch might save the hard parts and the clutches are cheeper and easier to replace.

i have never seen one of those spirilocs fail
but on the other hand some guys can tear up an iron anvil

Don't throw the baby out with the bath water, you won't know anything until disassembled and thoroughly inspected, and sometimes you still have to speculate the cause. Searching for next weakest link. What you have found already may have been the cause and breakage the result, speculation is just that. Hate that for you.
