Went through a mob up near Nindigully on the old BMW outfit awhile ago. Bella thought...mmm...lunch! I gave her a chew on it but she wasn't fussed about me not skinning it first and adding herbs and spices for her.
You can do root meat well either Tandoori style or even a good curry...vindaloo works well. Basically you need to add some flavour as there is little fat...and it can be tough...so a good curry works well.

Vegemite chocolate actually tastes a little like salted caramel - except with a sort of vegemite after taste. Not bad at all. Haven't seen the bacon chocolate but I reckon that would be pretty good too; bit like bacon and maple syrup.
