I had to have my GPS changed out a couple of months ago. My neutral light wouldn't come on at all and I couldn't start the bike with the sidestand down. I like ot warm my bike up a little before I ride off and couldn't. I had removed the sensor to check and see if there was a problem and then reinstalled it. I noticed the "O" ring didn't seem to fit properly. Anyway, the dealer just changed the sensor out and that was the end of the problem for me. I seem to find out about these things a couple of months after I have to get them fixed. You guys need to ride more.

My letter from Bridgestone and my letter from Triumph both claim their recall will end June 30,2009...I wouldnt wait past that date for tire change..my personal opinion!!Never had issues with the side stand cut out. It works too well!!!I still havent heard form my dealer on the tire issue despite having gone into the dealership last fri (8 days ago). If they think Im going to call and beg them they can kiss my arse!

Interestingly, my KLR has the same problem. The solution is to jumper the leads.

RKTBOB - Yeah I just got my letter to. Im sure they would still replace them but I agree to not let it go past that date. I think this may be a date for dealers to make sure this thing gets done. But if I dont hear form the dealer by the end of May I will make arrangements with another dealer. I would hope it doesnt go that far, but with the GPS now having to be swapped out and the snails pace my dealer moves at it could be that far out!
