Maybe this will help. Bateman's Bay is pretty much directly to the east of Canberra. Sydney is indeed to the north, but so is Brisbane.

I dig the geography, Mate!
What has me confused is talk I read that it is warmer where you and HansO are than it is to the north toward Brisbane?
Seems to me the closer to the equator, the warmer the climate. Right? Wrong?

3 bikes with CES pipes but 3 different sets of headers. Les's 1st prototype my 2nd improved model and then Scott's inferior copy.

Like I've said before those R3 owners will park anywhere.

All the other bikes at Canungra were neatly backed into the kerb.

Ah HA!
I had to go back and download then enlarge before I saw the red bike was not CES!
Well as you know most paint jobs look good from 50 feet as well. It's the 2 foot work that costs!

Met 3 blokes and 2 girls for the first time today. Didn't get to talk to the bloke riding this, saw him pull up and check out our bikes while we were having coffee. But couldn't spot him later to have a yarn.

What bruce failed to mention is that when the coast was clear he snuck out to inspect said bike
