You are right, sticker shows they took octane from 1st paragraph rather than second on pg 79.
I am curious not cause I cannot afford premium, but also performance. This thread got me thinking about it.
I remember my Honda vtx 1800 actually ran better on lower octane, no pinging.
I may try the lower and see if there is any observable difference. Would not the ECU make changes to prevent pre- detonation anyway as this is a modern machine? I really don't mind less cost.
