But you have to tickle them a bit, this one has 203 RWHP and is very light

The ROCKETS arent nearly as hot as the VTWIN Perculators the GOLDWINGS are Toasters also I cant ride those hot ass nut roasters the KAW 1400 CONCOURSE is another horrible hot beast just tested one last week those Sport Touring bikes are only comfy on the High way at speed and all the bikes have trans issues just look them up on the net I blame it on the fact that some humans are hard on machines and as a dealers we always had SOME customers that are hard on the bikes burning up rear tires every 2,000 miles worn brake pads only getting 20 mpg as others are getting 40+mpg but thats normal stuff some are abusive and are just part of the population that think its normal to ride to a bar and booze it up and do burnouts in the parking lot YEP I watch them every time I ride as we meet at FRANS PUB an outdoor restaurant and bar WE have one sportbike owner that tuned his own bike and now has to buy $10 a gallon race fuel because his bike is PINGING from the bad tune and hes a police officer who drinks all day and leaves intoxicated to drive home everytime he rides WOW is he a piece of work All the Harley gus have issues everytime I talk to them the dealer charges the hell out of them for everything all they do is complain

From around 2010 Kawasaki changed their fairing on the 1400 GTR and incorporated vents to extract the heat away from the riders legs at even slow speed no engine heat reaches the rider on my 1400 GTR.

I knew someone was going to mention the not-a-cruiser diavel. Great bike, not a cruiser, but a great bike all the same.

The 270 one looks terrifying, turbos just asking to get drug in a right hander, the 203 setuplooks much more fun!!

Don't know , How would I,maybe you guys have never experienced what really hot is, try sitting in an old cabover truck working in 46degrees days, over 65 degrees in the cab and no Air conditioning ,having to wear leather gloves to hold the wheel and change gears to stop burning your hands, but us old blokes had some hard bark on us, no Sooks allowed just do your job or feck orf
all internal combustion engines generate heat and a reasonably hot motor is normal ,hot air rises in still air and how the heat is directed from the engine dictates if the rider is subjected to the hot air flow or not,
the GTR is not an ice making machine but neither is the Rocket even the legendary Carpenter modified ones

I really want to give a Roadmaster a try. Spent an hour or so talking with the salesman about them. Lots of really nice features. And...while a Street Glide (or derivative) might well be as nice...you see 20 of them on every ride. At least the RM is somewhat exclusive, sort of like the Rocket. I really hope the offer the "open" fender of the Chieftain Limited on the RM.

The tough part will be parting with the Rocket. Already have 2 other bikes in the garage, plus my wife's.

Just been kicking the idea of getting a Indian Roadmaster around in my head. Like if I would get another bike what would it be type deal. The Indians are following down the same road as the Harley.... from my interpretation of what I've been hearing from my fellow riding buddies. The bike isn't worth that type of money another words and anything like dealership maintenance, parts, merchandise is very expensive.

I realize the Roadmaster isn't any comparison far as power and torque like the Roadster but it has all the luxuries you could ask for.

Another words I could get different type bike with some of the luxuries and have better handling, power, torque and still have a wad of cash left in my pocket.

THATS great tell that to my buddy his wiped out the stock cams etc then he went with the big cams and valve train goodies and he thinks its fast hes been trying to race my ROCKET I have been egging him on whenever I pass a car he tries to follow and pass me but he doesnt have the power so I run part throttle so he thinks hes hanging in Im waiting for him to call me out for $ he does that with the HARLEY guys and hes won everytime so far so I guess hes going after bigger game racing my Rocket WELL we will see this week he had his own DYNO CENTER for 8 years so hes no dummy

The Vic doesn't matter which one will not out do a rocket now running a Harley no problem there
I like my Vic which is a crossroads it is comfortable on long rides and so far no major problem
