Rode a Victory Cross Country this afternoon...

The one I saw had a "Flying Fortress " badge on the side. It was a neat looking bike. It had a stereo. :D
Yep that's the full model name MGX-21 "Flying Fortress "
Moto Guzzi Australia

Approx. the same weight as a Rocket 3, half the power and half the torque but probably still a nice ride. I was never disappointed with my old 1986 Guzzi Lemans MkIV

I traded my R3t for a victory crossroad bout 5 years ago
Of course miss the power that the rocket had but the crossroad is a good bike I have over 97000 miles on it and the only problem I have had with it is my clutch cable broke last Friday but like Jim when I get a couple more bills paid off I may start looking for another rocket or may wait and see what the 18 model looks like

I love the roadster in its simplicity, it's all horsepower and torque with very few refinements, pure muscle.

I also love my Indian RoadMaster, it lacks the horsepower and torque of the roadster but offers so much more in the way of comfort and touring Amenities. And once I lowered my expectations a bit It is no slouch in the horsepower department.

Having both bikes in the garage would be perfect. Which is why I'm keeping my eye out for another roadster

My sentiments exactly! 'cept the other way round.
Looked at most of the Roadmasters close by; think I'm going to have to start looking further out. There's a nice blue diamond '16 in the hill country that would make a good weekend trip to pick up.

Mine is blue diamond, we could be twins! Or Indian blood brothers :p

YEP 2 different bikes I rode the INDIAN and its a GEEZER GLIDE more like the HARLEYS and other V TWIN BAGGERS that everyone makes to grab a share of that market and the INDIAN being air cooled was very hot like the HARLEYS but even hotter I found the big watercooled KAWASAKI to be cooler running and a nicer ride but they are all for the GEEZER crowd that like the big slow megabaggers

That big Kaw has an air management system aka KAMS.
Look on the left side of the bike and you'll see a black hairdryer looking monstrosity; it sucks the hot air near the rear head and blows it out under the passengers foot. The radiator has a shroud that directs the air downward too.
Good system, really works, ugly as hell.

Thinking about finding a small bilge blower and sticking it in the empty airbox on my R3T. Then routing a duct to the top of the engine and maybe something behind the header. Cut a hole to vent out the bottom of the box and use a thermal switch so it turns on/off without user input.

Ah, ...may never do it; but it's fun to think about.

I liked the Vics I've ridden.
The CCT had the most storage capacity of any bike when I was looking at them. They handled nicely and I'd still consider one for the right price, but that would have to be nearly a steal.
Unless you're sure you're going to love it, ride the snot out of it and keep it for a decade the things are going to be hard to give away in a few years.
