Rockets Across America III

I was working on a large truck and had to replace the reluctor plate on the flywheel because someone decided to replace their own clutch. The plate was horribly bent and the crank sensor couldn't read it. In order to pull the tranny I had to drop the exhaust system. And drop it I did, it fell and about a half inch bolt punched a nice hole in the left side of my skull and you can actually see my brain in there.

Sooo, since I don't need a skull or a brain to go to ES I'll still be going

Wow Tomo......

Reluctor plate....sounds like something from Star Wars.....

I certainly hope you are ok. I have an assortment of plug buttons if you need one to cover the inspection hole....in your skull, that is... Various finishes too..chromed, black anodized, wrinkle finish black and wrinkle finish grey. If you want, I'll bring along my Hawkeye bore scope, it will fit in my saddlebag. We can all take turns looking inside. It will view, in high resolution, 180 degrees from center so we can inspect your wrinkles......

In fun, of course. I just hope you are ok. I was always under the impression that your brain floated in a semi liquid. Are you so old it's dried up?.....Gwad, there I go again.

Keep us all apprised of your condition.

Glad you're OK. If I did that today, I think I'd head over to the diner to make myself feel better. The special today is tuna salad. They hollow out a tomato and stuff it with tuna salad and add a bit of lettuce. And, it's gooooooooddddd. Then, I'd probably head over to the movie theater and watch them change out the marquee. I always like that.

Glad your okay! Just plug it with some wax and come on down. Must have been a heavy exhaust system.

Wow Tom, sorry to hear that. Well, if you're coming to E.S. with an extra hole in your head, I guess the rest of us can't wuss out over a whimpy hurricane!.. lol

TOMO,

At least it has been confirmed you have a brain unlike some of us who are still wondering:D
Hope you have a fast and full recovery.

I want first look inside your head, if we make a hole in the other side will I be able to see right thru? I thought that I heard someone cursing the other day:)

Glad you are okay.

Tom,

First and foremost let me apologize for the insensitive uncouth individuals on this site who would make fun of such a serious injury. I am glad you are ok and still making the trip.

If you lead the pack out of Kansas stick one of those long red flag poles in the hole like they put on dune buggies and golf karts so they keep you in sight.

You guys are real funny. Actually we did cork it up. I had to. If I laid down to try and sleep the cat kept sticking his paw in there. I'm gonna try some bondo today, maybe sand it down a little and some ceramic paint. A DOT sticker and I'm good to go.

Here's the drill. The closer to a big ride we get the more bones I break. Its normal....
