Probably think I am crazy

I was so looking forward to this trip, but something else has come up that I just can't pass on. My sister-in-law has gotten her and I tickets to see Cher in Las Vegas. I am the worst Cher nut you would probably ever meet. So I am pulling out of this trip. Probably better anyway since my Bear man can't ride his bike with us. Will absolutly make the next trip.

Have cancelled my room reservations at Motel 6 Texarkana and Riders Rest E.S. so if you hurry and have not made your reservations there should be one room available.

I wouldn't get too excited about accomodations. I have a feeling that there will be rooms available when you (Rocketeers) get there. Couple of reasons.....It's off season, people are staying home and there will be cancellations and that's too bad.

Cher??????????!!!!!!!!!!! I got you babe???? Okay,okay, you just have to promise that we can all hook up sometime after Mr. Bear gets the hitch out of his getalong. I'll have you know that I missed a once in a life time chance to go see Barry Manilow for this trip!

Cher is 61 but she still looks good! Dave you and I are only 4 years apart in age if I recall correctly but I guess it is enough that we have a generation gap?

Snuffy, Absolutley we will make a trip your direction sometime after Bear is back in the saddle. And I think I passed up those once in a lifetime Manilow tickets, too.

I'd take Cher for a tumble, in a heartbeat. Who in the hell is Manilow? Is that one of those Julio Eglasis imitators?

She is a bit older than I am....just a tad.

Unfortunately the accommodations thing is apposite from what you stated. We have been trying for two days to get a room at the Motel 6 in Texarkana, Finally got one cause Heather threatened someone’s life I think:kick: and with the hurricane and people migrating north all hotels in north east TX will be booked. Also The riders rest is book solid. Even the waiting list has a waiting list we keep checking to see if we can get in. Also the Fly rod were we are staying is full now.

Well I'm going to have to bow out for ES, just accepted another position at Houston Intercontinental Airport. Kind of hard to work two days and then ask for 4 days off, and my wife is coming back Sat to get her things, I would hate to come home to just carpet and paint.
S**t happens. I'm going to see if I can work something out so I can ride with you up to TA then ride back.
I hate this I was so looking forward to meeting all yall.
OK, OK, the truth is, me being such a little guy and all, I'm afraid someone is going to kick my ass for my posts.
