Great to hear that it is working out for you. Sounds like you had a nice ride other than the rain. Do you notice any better acceleration with the lower gearing? Top gear is where you are more likely to have slip. The less you can use your clutch the better. Do they make a quick shifter for your year bike? That would save further wear on it too and a nice performance upgrade as well.

Big improvement on acceleration. I will check out the quick shifter. I am sure my buddy Graham would love that
