Rocket R and Rocket GT video

Forward controls on the GT but no floor boards? No rider back rest listed either! Cruise control will be nice for the long trips. The luggage is ugly to me and not as big as I need for my long trips. Sure I can rethink my packing but the R3T upgrade was what I was hoping for, not a sport touring bike.

I believe there is as standard height adjustable back rest on the GT which may be purchased as an accessory for the R.

Price for the R is around £19,500GBP and £19,900GBP for the GT

You know what the best part out about the Rocket 3 R/GT is?

Fully adjustable forks will be available on the used market and since they're Showa triple adjustable, upgrades will be readily available and inexpensive (relatively speaking).

Hopefully they are a bolt on affair when the front braking system is transferred over as well.

Single Sided Swingarm transplant....anyone...

December 2020 when the 2021s come in. Putting up my 2 tone up for sale.

Hey, when a company has 15 years to develop something, a simple seat shouldn't be an issue right?

Otherwise, overall appearance I think is great.

I really like the switch to 3 bolts per cylinder on the exhaust manifold, should be less sensitive to leaks now.

The front engine crash guard is a nice touch to preserve it's stationary drop survival, like the RIII has.

Missing something in the advertisement. Horsepower?
 It's 165hp... Been shown a number of times.... It's not in the advertisement because they're not trying to sell the bike on hp, torque will be what sells the bike. Not much point in advertising a hp figure which is significantly less than any sportsbike less than half the cubic capacity. Does Harley advertise horsepower?

The bike makes essentially the same power as an RIII with intake/exhuast/tune.

Normally the counter point to that would be, "but it wont once the new one has intake/exhaust/tune" except....

locked ecus universally from mama Triumph.

Until Power Commander is released it's a dead end upgrade path.

That is exactly what am talking about. Harley is ashamed of there horse power output. 165 is that at the rear wheel? When i bought the X Truimph was very proud of their horse and torque. Posted both. Even so the stock X only produced about 118 to 120 horse at the back wheel. At best they left a lot of room to play with a open ECU and Upgrades. This bike offers none of the above.
