I would love to meet up with any other Washington forum members for a ride sometime this summer. I recall reading about a meet near Packwood, WA a year or two ago. Something like that would be great but I'm also willing to meet up east of the mountains too. Need to get my Rocket back together though and make sure it's reliable. I only put about 100 miles last on it last season before disassembling it for repairs.

FYI - you guys - I am hooking up with a bunch of my Vet riding buddies from OR in Morton, WA on May 29.
We'll be escorting them back into Roy, WA to camp out at my brothers for the evening. Friday, the 30th, will be a day ride up the Hood Canal to Pt. Townsend. Saturday, the 31st, I have hired a private room and kick butt blues band for a no host Mexican dinner and drinks. Let's PARTAY!

TC could stow away and I'd smuggle him in somehow.

Timely comments, my friend as just yesterday I inquired of you in another thread what you found for shipping the motor and how expensive it was.
Everything I found and looked into took like 4 -6 weeks to ship the motor and I had to get it 1000 miles to LA and then go home and chill until flight time. The cost and logistics all added up were prohibitive for me.

Hey boys time to get things organized.
Who is all interested in riding to Montrose?
So far it's me and my brother leaving Tacoma and riding to Pasco, WA to visit Rocket Roger on day 1.
Idaho Red wants to hook up in Nampa, ID.
I can leave Tacoma either the 19th or the 20th.
Smokeit2 from Wyoming was going to meet us in Vernal on the 21st also.

Thanks 1olbull, unfortunately it's a no for me this year for RAA, I have my brother in law's wedding the same week. There is always next year. I will be at the 14th annual RAT RAID in Nelson BC, just a little north of you in July

RAA IX ride plan to date is to ride from Tacoma, WA to Pasco, WA on the 19th and visit Rocket Roger.
Ride to Nampa, ID on the 20th to hook up with Idaho Red.
Long ride to Vernal, UT (500 mi) on the 21st to hook up with Rolltide and the Wyoming guy.
Short ride to Montrose, CO (200 mi) on the 22nd to PARTEEE!
