Rocket Owners Northwest

Ardbeg,
Thanks for the dope. I be pretty much drongo regarding Scotch - definitely not so much regarding good ol' Tennessee whiskey.
I do know of Laphroigh as I bough a bottle for a friend as a favor for his help with my work. Was a tad taken aback at the cost; however. :eek:
Just never could get into the unique taste of Scotch with one exception - Oban.
Let me know if you make it to the Seattle-Tacoma area, I'll come meet you for a beverage - or two - or three . . .
Sweet! Thanks. I look forward to the day when i can put some faces to the names of all the great folks on this forum-its a really great resource and I never expected that it would increase my enjoyment with motorcycling. Oban is a wonderful whisky and I had the pleasure of staying in Oban for 2 nights...great little seaside town, very quaint. I like American whisky too, particularly the great bourbons, Elija Craig 18 yo is a real dream and Buffalo Trace is quite good and a great dram for under 40. bucks. I sometimes fly down to Seattle to see my Red Sox play the Mariners...its a great place to watch baseball and is cheaper than flying east-I am origionally from NH. -D

Coincidence! I'm currently down in 80° Phoenix and going to see the Mariners this evening!
There is a GREAT bunch on this forum and meeting face to face after getting to know somewhat in cyber space is a gas.
You really should get to Montrose as many shall be there.

Spring training games? Bull you dog. I watched Waino pitch a gem for my beloved Redbirds today. On TV of course, sneak a sip from the magic flask for me. Enjoy!:thumbsup:

Just caught up with this thread gents. Let not your hearts be troubled, I know what the Bull drinks but let me know and I promise to provide. I have resources beyond the reach of Vernal. Shaping up to be a grand gathering for sure. Looking forward to it got to meet R111TEX last week, and it was a pleasure to say the least!:thumbsup:

Were I uber-rich, I would charter a barge to tote the Aussies over here for Montrose as well.
TC could stow away and I'd smuggle him in somehow.
:eek::roll:
You bet if I ever win the lottery, I will have em all over here. You think the lottery would be enough for us to get TC through Customs. This I gotta see!!!!:D

Bama Boy,
Bribes are indeed expensive - yet absolutely dooable!
Would it be fun having that TC brain and wit sitting around after a days riding over a smoke and shots for a week - or what?!?

I am sure we would be morally enlightened by the experience!:roll:
