Yea Mitch, I think the flag was too much. We just wanted a little of everything. But we did it. I love mine, wear it everyday, and it is all scratched up. I was thinking about painting it red. Then I woke up. Whew, what a nightmare!!

I looked at the enamel paint that is on the sides and thought, naw, that'll come off,
so I got some cold enamel like they used to make our buckles and filled the top in with that.
NOW she's solid black and hard as a ROCK(et).
Couldn't get my new camera to focus in for a close up, but she does look good.
imagine black onyx with just the "triumph R3 owners" and the "3 rivets" inlayed in it,
and you have the effect..smooth at the top and pretty as a picture, or actually better....

Yep arrived to day and looks great, very pleased, thanks to all involved.

couldn't find a macro setting Hans,
even had DustyRose look for it,
BUT
she did come by today and took me some pictures with her camera phone.
Here's the latest, these are a "little" clearer than my offering..

maybe I need to read the instructions,
cause it just ain't right a phone taking better pictures
than my new camera. It does real good except for extreme closeups.
Far as the ring goes, I still need to run it by the jeweler
and have him polish it up some...
But I'm pretty well satisfied with it now.

ring looks Good, the risers a great put me in the posi I was looking for relaxed and arms bent while resting against the utopia backrest, very comfy.Sorry I thought I was buying a camera similar to mine! but with out the video capability. Oh well at least you can take it in your pocket and not worry about it getting wet while in your pocket being waterproof sure put my mind at ease I wreck a previous camera due to getting caught in a down pour without my wets. I don't mind getting Soaked by Electronic things generally don't. I hope even though you cant do extra close shots you will still enjoy your RED camera

Claudia How's Ann's Gold Ladies Ring coming along
I was hoping it might get here before Christmas (put a smile back on my girls face), please make sure it is trackable, I would hate to see a $300.00 Ring disapear in the Post especially as Ann's not able to work anymore (her back is stuffed)so we are a one income household now,

I hope Ann gets to feeling better. I have been through two surgeries on my lower back, and it wasn't right after the second. I know each and everyone of us are different and so are the surgeries. I just hope she is able to stay out of pain. Maybe a Honda Goldwind or something. Na, that will make her sick to her stomach.
Well, tell her I said get well soon. I'll try to send her a picture of me. That'll make her better!!
