Roadster Handlebar Risers Research

These are an option 1,2 or 3 inches, can maintain al stock clamps and mounts. Also let you and just rise vs pullback depending how you angle it.

Street / Cruiser Handlebar Risers

Don't yet have them, but I plan on getting set of the black 2" ones. If you feel like experimenting they also make an isolated version to reduce bar vibrations, but not in 1" diameter yet, so you'd need to use 1 1/8th with a shim for the isolated ones.

EDIT: Forgot the link.

I fitted Rivco risers to my 2014 Roadster today, re routed brake line, throttle cables and clutch cables by removing the top yoke instead of disconnecting the brake line ( heard abs can be tricky to bleed ) anyway it worked for me without any issues. What a difference it makes, 2" back might not seem much but makes a world of difference to the seating position. I have the Corbin dual tour seat with drivers backrest as well as engine bars with highway pegs. Looking forward to a European tour in June.

Bleeding the ABS requires use of the Bleeder Tool or visiting your dealer $$$.
DealerTool diagnostic access to your ECU, for Triumph, Keihin and Sagem ECUs. Dealer Tool OBD and diagnostic interface for Daytona, 675, sprint, speed triple, bonneville, tiger, Rocket3, Rocket

Are you stating the Rivco risers increase pullback 2 inches?

They gave me 1" rise and at least 2" pullback, the 1" rise allowed me to tilt the bars back to give a much more relaxed seating position while clearing the tank on full lock either way, I have the Corbin dual tour seat with rider backrest and before the risers I could not sit with my back against the backrest because bars were too far forward for me ( short arms ) but now just right.

OK, sounds good, BUT can you lift your tank without hassle?

Why do some people say that they have seen the risers on the Roadster in addition to the Touring.... are the Risers specifically meant for the touring only but people put them on roadsters anyway?

There are in fact two variants of the risers. One for the Touring, one for the Rocket-everything-else.

Same thing for the Touring. Went from "Well... I guess this isn't so bad..." to "Yep, this is perfect."

After reading through this thread and a few others on alternative handlebars for roadsters I was hoping to clarify a couple of things.

Is it correct that the standard Roadster 1" handlebar dimensions are 9" high x 14" pull back x 6" centre x 35" wide. ?

What are the Touring handlebar dimensions ?

Are the Standard and Classic handlebar dimensions the same as the Roadster ?

The roadster / classic handlebars put you back a littlebit compared to the roadster and have a different hand/arm angle.

The touring handlebars are much different and you sit much more upgright.

I don't have exact dimensions unfortunately.

I bought a set of these originally, but on looking at them with the bike, I didn't even bother trying them. It looked to me like the riser would interfere with the stock instruments. Like I said, I didn't take things apart and TRY it, but it seemed obvious that to get the rise/pull back I wanted, there was no way I could avoid having them in the way of the instruments.

Thoughts?

Personally I would e VERY wary of risers like that an anything they weighs as much as an R3 in full dress mode. I can see too many options for a lack of rigidity. Fine on a MX bike that weighs next to nothing that will get dropped anyway. Not so good with the missus on the back.
