Roadster down

Bruce, interesting to read your write up about the vibration at around 2200rpm, before i purchased my Roadster I rode three demo bikes all had the same condition, I could feel the vibration through the bike but if i just put the slightest weight on the clutch lever just enough to take the free travel out the vibration would disappear. It still there in mine now done 7100km, not any better or worse.
My mate has a classic 2009, he had the bike shop take the motor apart to try to fix but he really did not get any improvement.
I see a few rider have reported it in the Roacket forums, I dont believe its a problem but would love to know what it is, I think some sort of torsional condition I feel.
 
Triumph say it's a combination of gearbox, driveshaft and diff noise. I think I feel it not hear it and some people just don't notice it. A bit like when I drive the car and feel a worn balljoint and Julie say's she never noticed anything. Mechanics said they could hear a clunky chatering with it running on the bench. I don't think I can hear it with a helmet on while riding. It's not a nice thing to say but it makes me feel better hearing that your's and the one's you test road did it to. If Team Moto Springwood is handy to you it might be interesting to drop in and quiz Stewart in the service department about your's and see if you get the same answer as me.

When I was at TeamMoto on friday there was a very fast looking BLACK rocket out the front with a turbo hanging of the side. I asked if it was for sale or a customers bike turns out it belongs to one of their salesmen.We had a quick chat about rockets and power I don't remember how many horsepower but he said 220 ft pound's of torque
 
Finally got the left side tank badge today. Good onya Triumph Australia only took 5 months. The R3R is back looking like it did before we stepped off.
 
Still black then? You'd better look into that turbo I suppose.

Glad she's back together. You'd think things like tank badges wouldn't be too hard to have in stock. 5 mths is a disgrace.
 
The bloke behind the counter tried to make a joke about how long it took but went quiet when my answer was yea 5 ******* months. You got to admit with our avatars side by side mine looks faster
 
nah the red looks faster even sitting still not to mention Kool with it Sunglasses on
