That's right, if you can talk about it, you done OK.

Appears the gear did its job.

I was sore for 3 weeks, on crutches and a walking boot for 2; you'll be feeling it a while, I imagine.

Road rash will sting, that's what it's supposed to do. As a reminder...

Get better quickly and get back on that big ol' girl.

Regards from another injured rider, wishing you a speedy recovery and a sympathetic insurance assessor. Like they say " if you walk away from it you done ok"

You wanted a new bike anyawayw , ,

haha yeah i guess. wait. this statement would be appropriate abotu a year ago 77 goldwing. I miss it already. once insurance has sorted it i'll post some pictures on here. Suffice to say when the dealer got the bike yesterday they rang me up and said that i was lucky to be alive.... and thats just based on the condition of the bike.

Glad to hear you're doing okay and a fast recovery to you, But I still do not understand the off road ticket the police would have a field day with that one around here.

This is taken directly from washington state website. i guess i was not operating the vehicle off the roadway. is how i would try and fight it. I had lost control of the vehicle.???:confused:

RCW 46.61.670

Driving with wheels off roadway.

It shall be unlawful to operate or drive any vehicle or combination of vehicles over or along any pavement or gravel or crushed rock surface on a public highway with one wheel or all of the wheels off the roadway thereof, except as permitted by RCW 46.61.428 or for the purpose of stopping off such roadway, or having stopped thereat, for proceeding back onto the pavement, gravel or crushed rock surface thereof.

Here that is referred to as inproper passing on the right-hand side in the gravel but you must be passing another vehicle, sounds like the legislators were writing a law to cover everything to make more money, it's a wonder they didn't give you a ticket for flying a motorcycle without pilots license best of luck.

sorry to hear about your fall glad your ok the bike you can fix, you will take some time to heel and hope your get back on the saddle soon.

I'm sorry, but I must have missed something here. You got a ticket for operating a vehicle off the roadway? Speeding (if you were) I'd understand but to give you a ticket because you lost control and finished up off the road defies not only logic but common decency and compassion. What sort of a prick would do that?? Don't answer - rhetorical question.

just got a call from the officer who gave me the ticket. he wanted my insurance information. I asked him what the ticket was given for and he said based on the evidence at the scene it was determined to give me the ticket.. I know for a fact i was not speeding because i got two speeding tickets in my car in the last year and a half and I dont want any more so at most I was going 5 over but this particular road is a lot of fun even at the speed limit.

so sick of this situation.. any captains working in the medical field in australia? whats the title given to the people who fix the medical equipment?
