Does anyone know when or which month the new years models roll out onto the dealer floors.
I want to know if Triumph are going to offer the Roadster in any other colour other than Black, and why have they discontinued the standard R3??
I have had my '06 written off after a Suzuki Vitara decided to pull out in front of me, and am not sure if I like the peg postion on the new Roadster, will test ride after my knee is strong enough to stand on again, but even with the standard R3 wanted the pegs further forward for my 6'2" legs.

with standar foot peg rails and the higher roadster seat you should have more leg room then before. With the lame duck speed the roadster has Black well was the only option. Triumph would have to make the bike faster (install a standard ecu perhaps) before it would be aloud to have different faster colors:D

I'm 6'8" and ride a Roadster. I feel more comfortable than on an older used R3 classic the dealer had. Even the Thunderbird was in the grey area between close enough and not far enough. I still look funny on it, but I've come to the realization that I'm just going to look funny on any bike. They just don't make them big enough to make me look normal.

You were not kidding about the 6'-8":D

What's funny is that about 10 years ago I took the MSF course on a Honda Rebel 250. If I make a Rocket look like a Rebel, just try to imagine me on the actual Rebel.

I'm also eager to see what they come up with color-wise. The dude running demo days in Spokane last month said they were discontinuing the matte black (which I actually preferred in the 2010 model). Can't imagine they'll only have one color (or finish, really).

I'm in the process of refinancing and remodeling my house. Once that's done I should be able to pick up a Rocket III... FINALLY.:D

Vinkster... I have a similar problem, looking funny on a bike, but mine's more of a width than a height problem. :D:p
