Roadster cat replacement pipe

I just replaced the stock crossover with the new staintune free flowing pipe. Huge difference. My tuner hooked up his A/F gauge to monitor the readings. After I installed the triples I have a good A/F mix at just over 13.1. With the new pipe installed, the initial run showed way lean across the board. The readings were 16.5+ all the way across. Using tuneedit, we ended up adding 10% more fuel aross the board and got the reading down to 13.5, which is a good setting for cruising. I'll keep the A/F gauge on for the rest of the week to take readings and to analyze the results. This particular gauge will store info at different throttle positions to be looked at later with the computor. This coming weekend we will get back on the dyno to set the A/F at WOT to get max power and torque. (70 to 100% throttle). Without an eddy current dyno(one with a brake), you can't do accurate trims except at WOT.
With the 10% increase in fuel to get the reading down, this tells me the pipe is really freeing up the exhaust. I'm expecting good gains on the dyno. I'll post the results when I'm through.

BTW: the stk x-over doesn't have cats in it, but is a highly restrictive piece of work. I can't believe Triumph designed this ww/o cats to be like this. Totally rediculous.

fatfrank, what do think the affect would be when using the crossover pipe on a standard set up.
It will definately help it breathe better. Would be better with the silencers also. Big gain. The stock pipes have a small outlet along with the cats inside. They need to go, whether with the TOR's or the Staintunes. I wish I had gotten the ST instead of the TORs for the weight savings. They look almost the same except they're slash cut.

Finally got it in from Staintunes in Australia. SST and $461.00 delivered. Soon as bike is out of shop, I'll install this and the 1" taller filters, then retune.
Man, this would be cheap to fabricate out of CS.

I talked to Dan at Cal Moto and he said Staintune doesnt make a crossover to fit the TORs exhaust. Obviously they do Frank .... I cant find one no where.
