Richard TTS Tune Launched - 186bhp at wheel with tune

HI
I'm not getting into a battle about who's tune is better. I am not condemning Penner. I was asked about a particular tune, I could see it was still speed restricted and there were differences to my tune on the particular bike I had on the dyno. A simple reflash for any and all Rockets I would suggest is a compromise, but possibly one that your bum dyno wouldn't feel. The main restriction is the throttle angle. On different models there are differences in tunes, we all know that. I have seen very few Rockets on my dyno but the ones I have, I have made significant gains in power. But there is no way I am going to sell just a tune and guarantee a set power gain. I would always prefer the bike to be on my dyno to build maps for it. My hat's off to Penner for giving everyone a nice power gain. I wish him the best.
Hi Richard
. I wrote you an email a couple of days ago to get your map. You told me that first I have to connect to the bike and see the map number installed on my Rocket 3 R. Can you make a map for my 2023 Rocket 3 R with VIN number # AZ9884 ? I want to leave the original exhausts, but I would like more power and acceleration in the first 4 gears. And what some of my friends who have the same bike also want. but there is a lot of confusion around for these maps between DNK Tune Works, BT-MOTO, BREN TUNING MOTO, and others. Also many ask ourselves: what happens if we have installed a remap, when we go for maintenance, and our dealer updates the ECU with a new version or an update?

Without a way to read your stock file you would need to have a stock file for uploading to your bike based on your VIN.

I’ve found being straight with the service department is best for me. If they ask I’ll tell them.

as soon as I receive the Bluetooth device to connect to TuneEcu I will connect to the bike to see the version of the map on my bike and I will communicate it to Richard

of course its not about battle. My point is to get more power with a tune that's it. I understand your complete message.

what do you think of this rocket 3 mapping? it is possible that there is a torque of 200 Nm from low revs and constant up to 6000 rpm. a bomb if true . I'd like to know the opinion of Penner and Richard.

read the comments on the Youtube video, In my opinion, PENNER tune is far better than that guy in video unless Richard comes up with a better tune.

yes I read, but I was referring to the constant torque of 200 Nm up to 6000 rpm. for maximum power Penner is excellent, and I think Richard has also reached this power

Please do not use the forum to attempt to draw tuners into a discussion regarding a comparison of their tunes. Both can be reached individually and can answer your questions.

As a general rule, anyone modifying a vehicle has to be ready to assume the consequences of their actions. Depending on your relationship with your dealer, they may or may not be willing to overlook some modifications when it comes to warranty work. However, if they spend hours chasing a problem only to discover that you have modified your ECU without telling them, they will likely not be very accommodating. If you're going to play, you have to be willing to pay.
