Mineral spirits, acetone or lacquer thinner. Definitely no razor blade.

mineral spirits fine but I wouldn't use acetone on anything with painted surface, lacquer thinner maybe?

Gasoline works real well. Maybe not the smartest or safest but it will take it right off.

I like gasoline too, a real multi purpose fluid, good for killing things too, weeds, trees, arseholes front lawns etc
