rear wheel removal

the tool kit is a joke. the allen wrench does not fit the rear spindle.
if there any thing on the bike that it fits i have not found it.

I happened to have a chisel in my tool box that the hex handle happened to be the right size.

just found the hex wrench from the original toolbox and it is too small

i wonder if at some point the shop who changed my rear tire last time F*** ed up the spindle.
You can use a Hex head bolt (try head in hexagon recess) and two nuts. Tighten the nuts together at the threaded end of the bolt. Use a wrench or socket to hold your axle.

Hmmmmmm I've removed the rear fender (mud guard) before and didn't have to remove the rear tire to get the fender off.

go down to AutoZone or tool store and get a set of these hex key sockets..maybe mine is a different size than yours..mine is an 06

I did go to the store and for $13 got a whole bunch of hex key sockets in a package one of which fits the spindle perrrrrfecly wheel is off spindle is ok although it appeared at some point some mechanic or apprentice torqued it with the wrong hex key or some other tools but I can hold it with the hex key just purchased
right now I just have installed the ramair filter and taken off all the body parts for paint . I also plan plasti-dipping the wheels black but but ...I cannot believe it but

somebody in denmark beat me to the punch regarding my paint design it is called the stellan edition R3 and it is BRG with white darn!!! here goes my original idea.

Why worry! Calgary is a friggin long way from Denmark, unlikely you will run across one another. ;)

Big pain in the butt to remove the back wheel if you're not kitted up. I now have a big blue easy rizer pro but how are you supposed to remove the wheel without some sort of lift. Mind you, left side silencer came off easier than I thought it would.
