Rear Tyres

Horse pucky!!! I know that you know better!

FYI - I did a cross country figure eight of 11,500 miles a few years ago.
Started out from Tacoma, WA with brand new rubber and rode to the Outer Banks and north & south parts in between.
I had to find and replace three tires, two rear and one front. Note: There were a lot of twisties involved!
It literally took me hours on the phone to find places where to, buy and get tires replaced.
When I do this ride again, I shall have at least 2 rear Exedra Max tires shipped or set up waiting for me along the way.

You don't have those problems with the Dark Side @1olbull .

The Riken Raptor 205 55 16 had a smaller diameter that the stock Metz. Took mine off the rim with 5 k miles and it was like new. The Exedra feels more stable at 90+mph.

Im going to try this one next. This Sumitomo HTR Z II is 205 60 16 and it a little taller that the Exedra Max. This should fix the geometry issue caused by the Riken. Has a 360AA UTQG rating. 26.8 in diam, 9.1 sector width and does 790 rpm.

Did I say that it looks Kooool?

Not so sure - I wore my DS heavily at the edges by 10K (miles) ish. Was still almost brand new in the middle.
Just replaced the E-max and that wore less in the centre too - honestly don't really know how many kms it did - but getting close to the DS mileage - it was down to the twi's over about 3/4 of teh width so it seemed a good time to swap.

Are there any straight roads in Spain?
