Just got back from a round trip to Goulburn and I swear the rears had much more meat on them than this.

So after 8980kms the Rear Metz is gone. Interestingly the right side of the tyre is worn down. What the?

Can anyone explain? I swear I haven't been doing donuts ... clockwise.

They all wear like that in Australia, in America they wear on the other side. I got about the same, 9000k Out of my first then strangely about 10500k out of my 2nd Metz when I was more used to the Rocket and riding it harder.

Just checked the front and its showing the same signs. Time to go tyre shopping and will take the majority opinion I think and look at the Bridgestones for the rear. Bugger me that is expected wear in AUS....would not have thought that. Thanks guys.

Follow a big cruiser style bike and you will see the lean of the bike against the camber of the road. I was surprised when I was behind one but after seeing that I fully understand why they wear to the right. Shame they aren't rotation possible as you would almost get double the milage.

AWESOME!
You blokes ARE indeed riders!
Most get WAY more that 5500 miles out of a rear tire!
Or is it extraordinarily rough road surfaces? :p

It could be a combination of both, also remember where we are,:whitstling: down under riding upside down holding the earth up will wear tyres out:laugh::laugh:
