Just wanted to clarify... "ROCKET" was actually me. Just got a new phone and tried getting tapatalk woking and somehow my post came up as rocket. Unquestionably my mistake using my new phone, so my sincere apology 'nethound'. I wouldnt want to respect your stance as an ignorant, opinionated dickhead and for you to not know it was me recognising your traits.

Hanso, i know what you mean mate and although I appreciate what you say it still erks me when some dickhead gets on the net, probably wearing a pink nighty sitting behind a computer screen calling patch guys dirtbag's! I'd have no problem with a twit having an ignorant position..thats cool in fact...I just wonder the last time he walked up to a bloke in patches and called him a scum bag to his face?

To be fair, when I did have a scumbag telling me once that I shouldn't be wearing a patch on my jacket witch certain colors I did tell him to leave me the hell alone. So I'm not exactly afraid to back up my stance if the need arises.

Ponters, I'm sorry I offended you, I really don't want this thread to devolve into flaming, insults, and threats. Maybe if we ever meet in person I can buy you a beer and you can see just how fetching I look in a pink nighty. (Hint: the beer helps with that).

good on ya nethound. Appreciate what you're saying and was sure it was an off the cuff statement.

Have to say I do agree some of the younger lads out there do try a bit hard to act mean and can give straights a hard time for no reason. They're generally the ones i don't like to back down from. Sometimes I'm a bit like my little staffy. A right pain in the arse...she continually stands her ground against my Cane Corso (itallian mastiff) who coincidentally weighs about 25kg more and stands 2 1/2 times her height. She's got less scares than him, even though hers are a fair bit deeper. LOL

Good and bad in all mate, its kinda an aussie thing where it don't matter what you wear, what you drive, where you live, colour of your skin, sport you play or which book you read, we tend to treat everyone the same until they prove otherwise. Tis hard at times but when you're brought up like that its hard to hear certain statements so I'm sorry if i came on like my staffy. Im learning to behave and I appreciate you taking the time to consider your most recent post.

Hey Dude My Post was Tongue in Cheek just to break a bit of tension you guys need to relax but more importantly think before you Post Mr Nethound because it will and as you have seen Irk Some
While I have never worn or will not Ever wear a Patch/Colours I have met and been proud to call some my Mates and I am a Fussy prick so relax calm down, smile and enjoy life a little and let other enjoy theirs.

Just to be different from others and make a point to Help a person every so often.... believe me It does make you feel good

Now our dear Mittzy was only trying to help his mates with out any intention of opening this can of worms so why don't we just put it where worms belong back in the dirt and move on

I asked my kids if they like the look of the design and their comment was "ohh wow cool dad can I have one", "yeah dad can I wear one on my school bag to show my mates you rode all the way to Hervey Bay"..........bloody Mitzy, i spend my life trying to keep my kids as gentle, well spoken, loving boys and now they want to have your patch and wear it with pride....oh well, guess I might have to bring home some of those patches and stickers after all!
