Dave64, what part of the ramair is inferior?

The rubber that keeps splitting , K & N doesn't do it and lots of happy customers using them . When the small breather one cracks up they can't blame poor install like they tried on me .

Sorry but i would never use the product again
 
Better a little too large (easy to pad the sensor body with some appropriate tape and get a snug fit) than too little (you're screwed).

I have always found it quit easy to make a hole that is to small larger by drilling or filing or cutting the hole to the larger size needed.

Now for me making a hole that is to big is much harder to make it smaller. I've tried washing the big hole in very hot water in the hope to shrink it some, but so far that hasn't worked out.
 
They obviously listen and improve re the feedback as it's now V3.

In addition they offer a lifetime warranty to the original owner during ownership.

I think it is very well made, easy to install and has very comprehensive instructions.
 
Just finished taking off my version 1 Ramair, gave it real good inspection, after three years its in perfect condition, no splits in the rubber mounting or body.
Cleaned, re oiled with the Ramair kit and refitted making sure it was on the throttle bodies all the way and square to the bodies, made sure not to over tighten the the three clamps.
Tested it would not slip off the throttle bodies. All good and ready for another 10000km.
 
The extra space is just a fringe benefit. Re installing the stock intake is a PITA. I must have re installed it 5 or 6 times, it took all the patience I had and every four letter word I know.

If do a Ramair kit it will be permanent. As any other mod I may do, I hope before I do it, it will be well considered, and only a forward from here proposition.

That said, I went back to stock exhaust on my Suzuki, since my experimental setup was not to my liking, and a stock set in fine shape came available at a screaming good price!
