I wonder why Ramair just did not make the hole the correct size in the first place?

I got my RamAir kit last week and installed it over the weekend. Hole was just right for my IAT sensor i.e. nice snug fit. The video on the web shows an O ring with the sensor but this wasn't supplied nor necessary. Overall, a very easy swap over. Did it all on the side stand too.

Better a little too large (easy to pad the sensor body with some appropriate tape and get a snug fit) than too little (you're screwed).

Oh and thanks for the heads-up. I may get the new version just to be on the safe side (though I have yet to inspect my filter for damage, got the bike up on the stand for the winter but haven't really dug into the improvements this year yet.)

See I always enjoyed squeezing it in too small a hole than vice versa!
