Ramair /induction noise ?

Does it make the bike sound meaner under throttle?
I can recall fitting an AEM cold air intake on an old Subaru Impreza of mine. It made the car sound meaner!
Yes it does, it gives it a very distinctive throaty growl from the bear claw , it also makes any under tank servicing ie: spark plug changes that much easier and as a bonus you get extra storage space where your OEM filter used to reside. ( my throttle response is much snappier )

Mine is being dyno'ed today. The @HansO tune that is currently in the bike is great. The dyno will be used to validate and fine-tune that map. Oh, and to coax a couple of extra horses out of the engine.
Mate i'd like to try that tune in mine once you have it downloaded pls :)

well you missed out on the gains to be had because as you said it was running leaner, give it the right amount of fuel and you would have gained a improvement
sound would definitely be meaner and if given the right amount of gas you should not get the squeaky crickets (which happens when there is excessive vacuum) just the jackhammer and the induction roar but if you use one of Les's OzClaws it will be brought down to a nicer level as he painstakingly puts a sound deadening liner in and when I rode his bike recently must saI enjoyed it lower volume roar

So hanso will the power tripp tune be okay with my setup or will it need changed.

I have a 2014 R3T with TORS.

James cant remember if that was was for Tors (for some reason I have not added that to my library) or not but if you then add a better air filtration you will need to richen it up
