How does one get rid of the crickets?

You need an Ozclaw from all reports on here it seams to kill the crickets don't ask how or why.

No crickets with the Pipercross filter either. Wasn't sure what they sounded like until 2 weeks ago when I rode @nolton bike with the small K&Ns. I can see where it gets distracting.

James I tried bitumen sheeting melted with a heat gun to inside of the original bearclaw ... chirping/cricket noise still annoyingly there.... Bought an Ozclaw from Les (OzRider) ... chirping/crickets noise disappeared.

I tend to ride with earplugs anyway since I like being able to hear and would like to do that for some years longer. Judging by the video posted earlier it's a non-issue in that case.

I got Ramair under the standard bearclaw, the sound is a bit like a creaking door, under heavy throttle it changes to a kind of rattling sound. Pretty much like in the video. Some might even like it, some may be bothered. It's ok to me, I don't mind because it is the sound of additional hp.
