incidentally would you know how to open an hex file? I downloaded a R3 tune it showed a zip extension on the forum but it is a hex extention and I have no idea how to convert it not even the web gave me any indication.

I downloaded the latest tuneECU 2.5.4 I think but how in the world do I get to see the actual 20258 map on my computer screen, dragging the map to the TuneECU software does not do anything except some cursing GRRRR......

Reicived the filter today easy install anyone know what the 13mm clip and 6mm nylock nut are for I've read the instructions which are very good but can't see we're these two I teams go.

You could try right click on map and in the menu select "open with" which should give the option of using TuneECU. Which version windows are you using, as I know that works on win 7

Email Ramair, they have a "Stage 2" sheet available. Basically it just gives details of removing the other parts to free up the filter box etc. The clip and nut are to secure the MAP sensor to the fuel rail.

Thanks that makes sense I even did it using one of the bolts from the plenum and then thought I'd ask. Very comprehensive instructions and very easy to remove the original system and install the filter
