RAMAIR Filters bespoke Rocket-3 underclaw filter.

I have loaded the latest tune from the hamburg site... running a modified hanso tune right now... Have also changed the fan temp, rpms, idle and top speed successfully. .. just make sure you have the latest tune ecu software.

How often do you clean it with the Ramair foam treatment. you have to remove the unit completely to clean it proper don't you?
Not cleaned it yet. iirc RAMAIR advised every 20,000 miles or so. Had no problems with mine popping off either. as for removing it - it's 3 hose clamps and one wire connector. Hardly cause for concern.

I'd STRONGLY recommend a different tune - though you can also fit something like a PowerCommander5 with AutoTune load Hanso's AFR targets and just get out and ride the blighter. I use a PC5AT. This you can fit without touching the Triumph ECU - although there are benefits to be had changing a couple of minor tags.

The Dealer put some map on my ECU that works pretty good with my Zard Exhaust. The power commander never worked with my bike, never tried the Powercommander 5. I now have my ramair.

Absolutely!!!! Non problems at all[/QUOTE

Does anyone have a map for a zard exhaust, and the ramair intake? I looked up the powercommander 5, and it only works on rocket 111 2009, and up. with the 2007 dynojet couldn't even get it to work right, it would rev high, or give me less top end, with the map on my ECU my bike worked much better.

They only said that it is for 2009 onwards because (a) they want to keep moving the crappy PCIII
And (b) it was an 09 model they used when developing it
The truth of the matter is that ALL models use the same connectors and ECU only the software inside has changed and the PCV does not interact (talk to) with the ECU it simply intercepts the signals coming from the ECU to the injectors and changes it so the injectors get the correct fueling according to the map you are running in the PCV

I understood that, I mean i knew how the PCIII worked, but instead of going with the pc5, if I can map my ecu with tuneecu? has anyone ever created a map for my setup? I have so much money rapped up into my pcIII, and then they had to put some adaptor on it to make it work, but it didn't. so remapping it would be nice.

If you don't want to go the PCV + AT route send me a "conversation" with your air filter and exhaust set up plus your e-mail address and I will send you a tune that will wake her up

Incidentally to all the rocket owners if your dealer tells you he can put a good tune in ... It will only be a Triumph tune which are not worth Jacksh1t as that are still leaner than you need, the TORS tune from dealer is only for the Triumph TORS mufflers and stock air cleaner. They run the risk of losing their dealership if they use any other tunes and their Triumph supplied computers are not able to use TuneECU tunes
