I just heard back from John in Spearfish at the Spearfish Creek Inn. It is across the creek from Orchard Creek Cottages. About 600 feet apart. Let John know you are part of RRAXI. He has 20 rooms.
I cancelled at Orchard Creek Cottages and have re-booked at Spearfish Creek Inn. $67.

For RRA XI rates for the nights you would like in July (July 17-19) are as follows:
$67/night for our smaller 1-bed rooms
$97/night for our nice 1-bed creekside rooms
$87/night for our 2-bed rooms
$87/night in the 1-bed poolside rooms
We also have 2 or 3 cots available that we can put in some rooms for just a $10 fee

Sunrise is closed and won't open until sometime in April I think. Didn't want to wait that long and not be able to get a room elsewhere.

I sent the Sunrise Motor Inn an email requesting my rooms.
I also explained about the RAA event coming to town for a night or two.
Surely they shall call to confirm before summertime.

I do NOT mean to bust your balls, Bill, but the Spearfish Creek Inn is a 4-5 block walk/drive from the Orchard Creek Cottages.
The Crow Peak Lodge is actually across N 3rd Street from the Spearfish Creek Inn.
Early on I booked at the Crow Peak Lodge because I know it and it is large.
TOTALLY willing to move if we can just pick one of the three????

Agreed. No issues in adjust my reservations if a single spot tends to work with everyone (location, setup, price, etc).
