RAA XI - ROOMS & ROUTE

Sounds good Fred. I asked them to price them extra cheap for us. He was hoping to sell all of his 20 rooms for RAA. I think he did a good job reducing the rates for our event.

Booked at Spearfish Creek, Western in Lovell and Sunrise in Cody.
Working on getting Corbin bags painted shortly. A new saddle that won't bust my rear end and maybe a radio.
Looking forward to the gun museum in Cody, Yellowstone, etc. And placing faces with names.
FYI-
There were still rooms available at Spearfish Creek Inn as of today. Do mention RAA group.
Also, Spearfish was dirt cheap compared to motels elsewhere. Motel "6.00"? Yeah, they'll leave the light on for you for $160 or so. Hard to believe it used to cost $6 a night.
Ted is bringing his gun. Just in case a bunch of desperados attack.

Hey Dalan,
On July 15th we are leaving Tacoma, traveling I-90 east (your shortest route as well) for Spearfish.
If interested, perhaps we could hook up on the way, like maybe Spokane.
We are fixing on crashing in Missoula on the 15th. On the 16th we shall to hook up with @smokit2 around the Bozeman area.
Arrive Spearfish on Sunday, the 17th.

That would work Bull.

We have an extra bedroom at the house if anybody from California wanted to crash if they are headed up through Oregon. We are not too far from Interstate 5. Grab 213 North to I84 then I90 to Spokane.

Crash. I meant sleep.

OK, I have tried to follow this page by page to determine where the event will be. It started in Spearfish and then seemed to move to Cody and now back to Spearfish but I am a bit confused. I was going to contact the Bells Motor Lodge but want to ensure I am in the right city.

Edit: And BTW screw camping. I did for 8 days at the Sturgis 75th Anniversary event and here were some very miserable days with high winds and torrential downpours. Motels can be expensive but one is warm and dry with a working toilet and shower.
