Dad and I are looking at getting new rubber for the trip. Looking at the pictures below, how many more miles do you think these tires have left? Thanks in advance!
I can't say but I have about the same on my front and i am getting a new one. I might be wasting tire money but i'm going to be safe and fast. My guess would be you have between one and two thousand max.

Amazing. I ride everyday wet or dry and in high heat. A little over 100 miles a day along with speeds of 70 to 140 miles per hour. My Avon Chrome back tire has over 5,000 miles and is still looking good. Front Avon Chrome has over 8,000 miles and has plenty of tread left with no cupping at all.

Riding styles and surface textures affect mileage greatly. Aggressive acceleration and braking plus hard cornering all drastically increase wear. I’ve seen Kevin ride and he can hurt tires quickly.
