RAA Oklahoma edition (fall launch) set date.

Would transport the Beemer in the back of my pickup and need a place to leave it along with some mates to help me off load tne bike. I'll have my 3 piece ramps in the back of the pickup.. I'd offload the Beemer by myself but those days are gone forever.
my house is within a good days riding from there

Mike, I'm just a youngster at 57 but have had one knee - TKR - and the second is due soon. All through a mis-spent youth playing games with odd shaped balls. Once done, you will be like a young Gazelle, leaping and bounding once again. Chasing the HD's down the road and showing 'em who's the real Boss!! Live life and love the extras we can give!! ;);)

Dad had a complete Knee replacement at 70 something. Wife had the same 2013 at 59. You would never know it today. They both get along better than i do. Looking at doing the same when i get up enough nerve to have it done. :p:p:p:p:p:p:p Chicken $hit:roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll:

Good point, Fred . . . if one ever had a kick-start motor.
However, if I had to pick one, it would be the left as that one supports me while doing the male dog lift with my right leg to mount the bike.

Thanks gents. Mine knees are both shot from 35 years in the Navy, running/standing on steel flight decks and what all. I've been putting the surgery off for the last 3-4 years, getting Cortisone shots every six months, which used to for six months.

I got both knees shot up in May of 2015 and rode to the Arctic Circle in June and felt great the whole time. The stuff no longer works though, as expected, and the last six months have been miserable. I've had to rely on Claviger and 1olbull/brother Dan to help me with my Rocket mods, which I hate to have to do. That's what friends are for though I suppose when the chips are down.

Seeing the doc to set everything up this coming Thursday.

Would love to ride the RAA and am trying to sort this out. Celebrex and Voltarin Gel are my good friends for now. I'm thinking I could drive all the way and with my Rocket friends helping me unload the BMW at the motel to do the rides. I'll sort things out with 1obull.

Would include a stopover with Lupe and his lovely bride for that Mexican dinner we've discussed over the last few years.

Either way I"ll be at the motel. Will be more than happy to help. Ran a few laps on the U.S.S. Plate, U.S.S. Inchon, U.S.S San Jacinto, U.S.S Alerigh Burke and The U.S.S Pensacola.:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
