RAA 9 June 2014 Colorado head count

Tripps,
Well, I gave it my best shot, the tranny gave out at the height of rush hour in St Louis, at the busiest spot on I70, on a blind curve, under a bridge, LOL. Got it going in third gear, made it out of downtown to a suburb, holed up at the Marriot with Paul, Scott, Dave and Peggy. They have a bar. We will be drunk shortly. Guess I'll rent a Uhaul in the morning and head for home. See y'all next year.
don't do that, rent the uhaul to Tulsa, ride one of my bikes to Colorado, you can leave your bike here and have it repair
What he said...

You da man!!! Mex...
I know any of you would do the same for me:)

So if things cant get any worse...

I am already riding with a messed up back and just got scheduled for shoulder surgery by the time I get back from Montrose...

I was cleaning up the mancave so it could be used as a beotch cave while I am gone... and in moving some of her stuff out of the cave into the garage I stubbed my foot and broke my 3rd toe... I reset the toe last night and did not sleep very much...

hopefully nothing else is happening other than rain the whole way through Illinis, Iowa and Nebraska in the forecast now...

Heading out in the morning and should be in Colorado Springs by 7pm or so...

Eat lots of cherries; good for anti-inflamory, nutrious and a great road food to boot. And they are in season now. Stay safe.

Ogre's friend Charley arrived last night at the hotel in Warrenton. Nice guy. Both being Vietnam Vets helped break the ice of meeting someone new.
