Day 1 will probably be closer to a 12 hour (+) day with stops so an early start is going to have to happen. I just hope my wife isn't too stove up from that long a day.

Day 2 When you guys go left I will go right and head back home.

I can have available a room with a futon, a large family room with a couple of cots and air mattresses, perhaps another airbed. It is all downstairs but the bathroom down there is for the cats so you will have to come upstairs to use the bath room. Unless the sight of a few litter pans don't bother you while doing you business.

If not here the Super 8 about 7 miles away would work well. The hotel, a truck stop and a McDonald's are all right there. Airway Heights WA also has quite a few motels and it wouldn't be that hard to stop there to get started. If there are any retired/active military the AFB close by also has a lodge.

I will host a BBQ on the 15th so the food will be taken care of.

Bob,
Kicks up at 9AM? We then should have plenty of daylight.
Once we get a handle on our number we can rezzie up at that Super 8.
Thanks.
Why only day 1?

It's a very easy thing to ride down the new grade and ride UP the Spiral Highway. In fact, everyone would get a lot more enjoyment on these big bikes to do just that.

Down the new grade, back up the old grade, down the new one and into Lewiston for gas, and possibly a quick stop at Hells Canyon HD if anyone needs a shirt or anything. If nothing else they will have water and a bathroom. ;)

My place is open, Rick.
Some of us will be heading out from here to Medical Lake (Spokane) on the 15th (an easy day ride); however, tis two hundred miles less for you to ride to Spokane.
I have not secured a motel for the 15th near Medical Lake.
Perhaps @Bob R will come up with some suggestions???

Thanks maaan. I need a place to park the rig for the days we ride. I will probably start Monday the 9th and take my time. Should be in Wa Thursday the 12th.

Steve,
For the day ride from the wet side to the dry side have you considered taking Hwy2 across. That way you can stop for lunch in Leavenworth. I recommend Andreas Keller on the main street there. ;)
