Phil, it would be good info for me as well. :). A friend of mine is an editor in a largish newspaper and he describes his job as chief cat herder, he has over 35 sub editors to organise. Me I can only just organise myself.

Hey fellas. I have the cable inbound from Lonetec. Is the tune # 20367 The correct for my 2015 Touring Rocket? I'm really nervous about trying the upgrade to the ECU. Hopefully with the right cable from England things will go smoothly. Any pointers? Same deal as installing on earlier model years?

The process hasn't changed for the 2015.

The first post in this thread used to contain a link to the file but apparently somewhere along the way that went away.

Go here:

Triumph_Custom_Tune_list. 3 & 4 Cyl. models

Find the Touring section and find the tune named R3T_stock_or_slip-on.hex

Or click that link right there. :)

Personally I chose to first copy the map out of the bike with TuneECU and back up what was already in there, and then I put this one in, reset adaptations with that TuneECU function and then did the 12-15 minute adjustment (start the bike, touch nothing but the key to do so, wait 12-15 minutes until the fan kicks in.)

Thanks for the advise. When I get the cable delivered I'd like my hand held doing it. Finland? That may be a hefty phone call bill.

Haha yeah that might cost you in minutes alone, plus I'm probably asleep when you're doing it but there are no doubt others here willing to step up if need be.

The only real problem that may crop up is getting the drivers into the PC for the cable to work and there may be issues with driver signing that complicates that part further. Using TuneECU isn't that complex.

My son and I loaded this on my 13 TR3t Monday night. Process worked well getting it loaded. We both rode it after and agreed it really helps the bike pull harder especially above the old 4000 rpm power plateau. Thanks very much for this information and all the support. It is the best 20.00 (by FAR) I have ever spent on performance.

2011, I used android. I pulled the head light fuse, then removed taillight, parking light bulbs. I hooked up a spare 12v battery and charged my phone before starting. From there I used the instructions / tips from the forum and the tuneecu.com website. Just a heads up reading your old map may take 30mins.

Before I screw this upload up tomorrow. The bike is a 2015 rocket touring. Has ABS brakes. Please verify the correct tune is still from power Tripp as the custom under 3/4 cyl. Seems lime an old posting so making sure. The new OEM number is much higher. Guess its without the extra power but wondering if it contains things the newer bikes need.

If the 2015 with abs is a different tune I'd hate to use the wrong tune.
