Unless you're spending the majority of your time at speeds over 80, there's something wrong with your mileage.

There are speeds under 80?

The Rush's are close to new, and setting me back $50, the touring mounts are very similar to the Rocket. I'm still working on that, but the idea I have shouldn't take to much modification. I'll definitely have to have some stainless cut and bent to connect the crossover to the slip-ons.

I tried to unscrew them this morn and move the baffle, but it didn't seem to want to budge! i decided to try when i had more time. wondering if something further up towards the head is holding them in place too.

You need to take about a half hour ride and get them hot and they should come right out. There's a silicone like substance that's helping to hold them in. Be careful not to let the fiberglass come unwound in case you want to put them back in later.

Today Downloaded Power-Tripp's R3T stock or slip on special tune 20368 into my friend Bob's 2008 Touring.

Bob needed a full service since he is taking a long trip with it later this month. I offered to help him and retune his bike with TuneECU. Well we did the full service including removing the back wheel and the bevel box so we could moly paste the drive shaft splines, 30,000 miles on the bike and it had never been done. Splines looked great.

After getting all the dirty work done time to tune. The only changes to the engine/exhaust Bob has made is adding the PC3 and Touring TORs. He said his fuel mileage went way down after this mod to about 29 MPG. I test road his bike and found it is rather anemic. When I hooked up the TuneECU I found it had tune 20233. We downloaded Power-Tripp's special R3T tune 20368 that started off this thread. We made a few changes in the fan temp, top speed, max rpm and idle speed. WE did not get the green TPS light to come on even after doing the set adaptive and 12 minute tune. But the tune took anyway. You should have seen the grin on Bob's face when he came back from his test ride. I took it for a test ride after him. Oh yes it was different. NOT anemic anymore. Not as strong as my standard with the Dobeck Performance AFR Plus but definitely way better than it was this morning.

THANK YOU MR. POWER-TRIPP.

I need to ask about the TPS. We did the TPS test and found the volts at 60 and at 64. I thought it was supposed to be 60 then 70 or 72. What is correct for a Touring ? What harm does a 60/64 reading cause. How do I adjust it ?

Not often I am privileged to have 2 Rockets parked in the garage but I did yesterday... and one of them left a tad lower and much louder.

I love it when you slow down and your bike talks back to you! thanks to drmd421 for the help and time!

I ran my stock Touring on the Dyno this weekend. Here are the results. About what I expected. Now to put on Tors and the Triumph tune. Still under warranty and I can't get a straight answer from the dealer if an aftermarket tune will void it.

They have to load the tune if you are going TOR's, you are not voiding nothing, they would not be selling the TOR's if it was an issue with warranty...

So if the dealer puts on Power-Tripp tune for slip ons, It will not void the warranty?

The dealer will not put in Power Tripps tune, they will only put in Triumph tunes.

they will load the TOR tune, when you get home save the TOR tune and load the Power Tripp Tune with tuneecu. When you go in for service load your saved TOR tune and they will not know the difference...
