is it the one on the bottom? i have a 13 model, but im geussing they're the same as yours.

so it must be a quick deal, may try in the morning. thanks for all the help. hope to hear from you soon and meet up

I just want to ride and not annoy the entire world, but that's just me... Plus, over here cops actually enforce noise ordinances.

What a gentleman and a scholar! does anyone know if this will work on a mac?

Yup. Can't miss them bottom of the pipe near the tail end.

I tried to unscrew them this morn and move the baffle, but it didn't seem to want to budge! i decided to try when i had more time. wondering if something further up towards the head is holding them in place too.

Question for the gurus-

I have a stock '11 Rocket touring, I decided that I want to improve performance but I don't want to sacrifice mileage too much.

I ordered a Zodiac crossover pipe out of England and will be installing that as well as fitting 2 Rush performance Harley slip-ons. I am leaving the stock headers in place. I intend to use TuneECU for now, but I am still trying to sort out which is the best air-intake for this setup. The Rush slip-ons are a 2" flow-through with the standard glass pack like baffling.

I don't want to go overkill on the intake, I've been looking at the ram-air, ru-2740s, or underseat K&N. I just don't think I want to increase the air so much that I have to induce so much fuel that my already (33mpg avg) goes down much more.

Unless you're spending the majority of your time at speeds over 80, there's something wrong with your mileage. With Jardines, triple K&Ns and associated tune, I get better mileage than that (but not much).

You must be planning on doing some welding work on those slip-ons for the mounts. I'd think TORS or D&D's would be an easier choice, but different is fine. The drop in K&N will net you next to nothing. Not sure what gains you'll see from that crossover pipe. I'd guess a touch of loss of back pressure, a bit of top end power and a bit of a slight loss in low end torque. Personally I'd go with the 2740's or a ram air setup.
